When this Project was handed to us the Doctor’s requirements were very explicit. Medical practice owners now realise that how their space looks and feels has a significant impact on the patients’ psyche and overall wellbeing. It expedited the entire process of conceptualization to develop a work environment perfectly suited to his brand and patients.

One of the key design factors to aid the client’s medical practice was to make his patients feel secure and calm. Hence colours and minimalism inspired from Scandinavian design elements was the crux of the design process.

Different colours have different effects on patient mood. Hence, we were inclined towards the pastel colormap so that any visitor immediately feels a sense of calmness that helps build trust and reliability. Another factor that commonly affects patient mood is space (or a lack thereof). So, we tried to achieve the open-plan area flow in the interiors allowing for more air and light flow with more adaptable spaces. Overall, we wanted a create a space that would provide an atmosphere of comfort, security, and tranquillity.
